Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the WFCO 12-volt deck Mount Auto Detect RV Converter Charger. Now this converter here is gonna keep your RV power smooth and steady, and it even adjusts itself to whatever battery you're using. It does stay quiet, protects your system from electrical hiccups, and it won't interfere with your electronics. It does use an auto detect technology, which is gonna recognize your battery's chemistry and automatically adjust the charging profile to match that. So if you have a lead acid battery, it has a three stage converter that'll handle every charging need for your RV.
And if you're using a lithium battery, uses a multi-stage process to ensure safe operating voltage, replaces the battery energy and balances the battery cells. Now this converter charger is gonna provide clean, reliable DC power that powers electronics and appliances. It'll deliver clean power with or without a battery. Now the maximum power input on this unit is 770 watts. The continuous power output is 610 watts.
And the output DC current on this is 45 amps. It is a deck mount installation. As you can see, it comes with this integrated three foot long 15 amp AC power cord. And if you'd mount this vertically, sort of like in this position, it provides an unobstructed ventilation for the fan right down here at the bottom. And you can see the vent holes right up here at the top and on the sides here.
It is fully insulated connections for protection. It is an open top design for ease of use and effortless installation, and it does protect against over current, over temperatures, over voltage and reverse polarity. We mentioned the cooling fan back here. This cooling fan will run only when needed for quiet operation and it is controlled by the current load. It's attached to the converter.
It's not controlled by the temperature. Now we do also sell a distribution center, which we sell separate on our website, which is ideal to pair with this converter. And this unit does meet the FCC Class B compliance, which means the converter won't cause interference with TVs, radios, or other signals.
