Roof Rack For Thule Tracks on Leer Truck Cap for 2019 Honda Ridgeline Sport

Updated 08/04/2026 | Published 07/23/2026

Question:

Greetings, i have a Thule rail installed on my Leer truck cap. 2019 Honda Ridgeline Sport 1. What podium feet / install type of kit do I need? 2. Can I then shop around for crossbars or do I need to keep with a Thule crossbar system? Thanks so much!

Hey Jesse! The feet/legs and crossbars need to match so you wouldn't use Thule feet with another set of crossbars. However, the tracks are pretty universal so other roof rack brands will be able to fit.

As far as I know Thule still doesn't have a replacement for the old towers that fit the tracks, so I recommend going with Rhino-Rack. You can choose from one of the following based on style and crossbar length:

-Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks - 2 Sportz Bar Crossbars - Black - 54" Bars # Y02-480B-NT

-Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks - 2 Sportz Aero Crossbars - Black - 59" Bars # Y02-490B-NT

-Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks - 2 HD Crossbars - Black - 54" Bars # Y01-120B-NT

-Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks - 2 HD Crossbars - Black - 65" Long # Y01-140B-NT.

All of these are complete roof racks with everything you need for installation. You might want to measure to see which length would work best for your application first.

What will you be carrying on the rack?

The Rhino racks were perfectly matched up to my Factory Leer tracks on my shell. Work very nicely on all aspects of the system. Would not hesitate to buy again.

@DouglasB awesome, and you even have a Leer shell as well. Glad to hear it works well for you, thanks for sharing your experience with the rack!

Hey Robin, appreciate it! I’ll be carrying primarily one of the following: longboard surfboards, SUP boards, or just miscellaneous light weight objects (as is to go camping). Have a rec for which of the Rhino’s I should go with?

@JesseL you're welcome! They have the same rating so I'd go with the aero bars myself. They're more aerodynamic so there will be less impact on gas mileage and they're a little easier to work with for most of the things you'll be mounting up there.
