Thanks for reaching out Sandra, happy to help!

Looks like your Carrier 68RV0010AA was originally a 13,500 BTU AC . Since Carrier no longer manufactures RV A/C units and the industry has transitioned to R32 refrigerant, the recommended solution is to replace the entire A/C system rather than just the rooftop unit.

I'd recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System w/ Wall Thermostat # ADV95SR. It's a complete 13,500 BTU system that includes the rooftop unit, air distribution box, wall thermostat, and all of the major components needed for a complete installation. It can be used with ducted or non-ducted RVs, making it a great replacement for your older Carrier system.

Has your current Carrier AcC stopped cooling, or are you replacing it due to age?

Sandra, I have a 2008 30’ Jayco, class C motor home. I replaced a Coleman Mach 13500 with the Advent Air 13500 btu unit. It works well until temperature gets above 95 degrees. It struggles to keep up at high temperatures. That said, it is quieter than the Coleman and it’s adequate for 90% of the camping we do. I’m sure it would be more than enough for your pop up. It was 40lbs lighter than the Coleman unit, another plus. Thanks Kelly

We installed this unit on our 35' Artic Fox 29-5t 5th wheel in 2025 last year before a May-June 6 week trip across OR,UT,AZ,TX,NM,LA,MS,IA,SD,ID,WA. It was plenty hot. Big improvement over just the single Colman air conditioner that came with the 5th wheel. One thing, it's pretty loud which was a problem since it was over our bed. Also, at times made it too cold to sleep comfortably.
