Hi Jeff,

The Redarc Tow-Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller part # RED57AR doesn't require a wiring harness adapter to install. This brake controller works by plugging directly into your factory 7-way and is controlled from the remote that plugs into a USB outlet in the cab or the Redarc app.

If you're wanting a more traditional Redarc brake controller that is a knob that install in the dash, I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Elie Brake Controller part # RED76CR. Like the Redarc Link, it also has an off-road mode and works with trailers that have up to three axles. It includes a plug-in harness that would connect directly to your van's wiring without having to splice. Both of these controllers will only work if your van has a factory wiring harness and 7-way already installed.

What are you planning on towing with your Ford E-150?
