Which Roadmaster Comfort Ride System is Recommended for 2025 Brinkley G3250

Question:
My client wants the Roadmaster Comfort Ride system installed on a 2025 Brinkley G3250, which currently has triple 7k axles. Of the 3 options, the 7k system RM-2460-2570-3 is the most expensive, followed by the 8k system RM-2460-2580-3, then the 5.2-7k system RM-2460-2560-3. My client is a full-time RVer running close to max capacity on the trailer 22k. Would you advise the 8k system or the 7k system I assume the 5.2-7k system would be too light

Expert Reply:
Hey Robert, since they are near 22k I would recommend going with the 8k triple axle kit part # RM-2460-2580-3 as that would be the properly rated system. 22k divided by 3 axles is 7,333 lbs so you would need more capacity than 7k per axle so that would be why the 8k system is your best bet. Your customer is just wanting a more comfortable ride quality?

We’ve installed many Roadmaster Comfort Ride systems for Brinkley owners. While the 8K leaf springs may technically be the appropriate size based on the weight calculations, we’ve received feedback that they can make the ride feel too stiff. Based on our experience, we recommend the 7K leaf springs. They provide a good balance without being too stiff or too light. Also - probably something that you are already tracking but just be careful to order the shocks that fit for a 3" axle tube. Hope that helps!
