Do You Offer an RV Slide Out Bulb Seal With Wider Fins?

Updated 07/02/2026 | Published 06/28/2026

Question:

I’ve been looking at your bulb seal with fins that slides on the existing track. Do you make the same thing with wider fins? With what I can see on your site, there is just over 1 inch from the center of the bulb to the outer edge of the fin. I need one that has 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inches from the center of the bulb to the edge of the fin, in order for it to make contact with the slide out wall. Thank you!

Hi Ron, thanks for reaching out. I completely understand why you're checking that measurement before ordering since if the fins don't reach the slide wall, the seal won't do the job you're expecting. The Rubber Bulb Seal with Fins for RV Slide Out, part # SR69VR, measures about 1 9/16 inches from the center of the bulb to the outer edge of the fins. At this time, we do not offer a bulb seal with fins that extends farther than that measurement.

To make sure you're choosing the right replacement, I recommend extending the slide to its fully deployed position and measuring from the center of your existing bulb seal to the point on the slide wall where you want the fin to make contact. If your current seal is worn or compressed, you can also measure from the center of the mounting channel to the slide wall, then compare that measurement to the replacement seal's dimensions. That will give you the best idea of whether the fin will make consistent contact and create a proper weather seal.

What RV and slide are you sealing, and where do you like to camp? There may be another sealing option we can look into based on your setup.
