What Brand Are The Bearings Contained In The BK2-100 Bearing Kit?

Question:
Hi Could you tell me the brand name of the bearings contained in P/N BK2-100? The price you have on that kit is incredibly low for quality components. Also, how reliable are these parts? Thanks in advance... Tom

Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out. The bearings included in the # BK2-100 kit are supplied by TruRyde. They are not manufactured in the USA, but TruRyde has been a long-time supplier in the trailer industry and we've found their bearings, races, seals, and other hub components to be reliable when installed and maintained properly.
We sell a lot of these kits and they have a solid track record. While there are premium bearing brands out there, we don't see an unusual number of failures, warranty claims, or quality complaints with the TruRyde components included in this kit. For the price, it's hard to beat.
As with any bearing, proper installation and regular maintenance will have a much bigger impact on longevity than the name stamped on the bearing.
