Hey Bill! We've got a couple of really good ball mounts that fit a 3" receiver and will work with the Adjustable Mud Flap System item # RT77VR, you just purchased. I recommend the following ball mounts:
4-1/2" Drop, 4" Rise - B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS30037B
7-1/2" Drop, 7" Rise - B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS30040B
These ball mounts are designed specifically for the 3" hitch that Ford designed. They have a 21,000 lbs capacity and come with both a 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball. The shanks have two hitch pin holes that will allow you the clearance needed to mount the Adjustable Mud Flap System item # RT77VR. One of the best perks of these ball mounts is the stow feature. Even with the mud flaps installed you'll be able to rotate the ball mount platform towards the bed of your truck when you're not using it.
The only major difference between the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS30037B and item # BWTS30040B is the drop and rise. You'll want to select the ball mount that's as close to the height of your trailer's coupler as possible.
I attached a couple of pictures of one of the B&W Tow & Stow ball mounts and the Rock Tamers installed so you can get a great idea of what it'll look like on your truck.
