How Much Modification Does the Roadmaster Direct Connect Base Plates part # RM79RR Require?

2024 ford bronco outerbanks sasquatch edition. I was looking at the item RM79RR Does this item include all the necessary hardware? If its only cosmetics and no other damage I am interested.

Hey Rick,
It looks like the only modification is slightly widening a hole in the frame to fit the side bracket of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM79RR. We have an installation video of these plates being put on a 2024 Ford Bronco and it didn't show any fascia trimming, but in the instructions, it does mention some slight trimming of the fog light cover to allow clearance for the 6-pin mounting plate. The tow hooks will also have to be taken off the vehicle while the base plates are installed because the base plates install in the same spot as the tow hooks. I've linked the instructions and the installation video below so you can check it out for yourself as well! All the hardware to install these will be included, but some of the factory bolts from removing the tow hooks will be used in the installing the base plates as well.

I added this base plate to my 2022 bronco, no modifications were needed took a couple of hours.

Just make sure it is the correct item for your bumper. I have installed this product on my wife’s 22 Bronco and my 25 Bronco. We had the basic front bumper, not the modular. The only modification is enlarging a whole in the frame. You will need a step drill bit.
