How do you get 12v to plug to charge rv battery on a 2017 ram 3500

Hey David, I did some checking and the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 2017 Ram 3500 is active all the time so you can use it to charge your trailer battery. The 1:00 pin of the 7-way carries this circuit and it would need to be ran on the trailer side 7-way to the positive pin of the battery using 10 gauge wire like the part # 10-1-1. This is great for like a light maintenance charge for the battery.
Now if your trailer battery is lithium you would instead need to use a BCDC charger like the Redarc part # RED36TR since lithium batteries are a lot more particular about how they charge.

When I hook up the controller my plugs don’t have 12v is there a certain way to hook the controller up I have two plugs one on bumper other in bed
