What hitch receiver will fit on a 2023 Ram Promaster 3500 EXT? Also what wiring harness do I need for the 3500 EXT?

Welcome back Rod. To add a hitch to your 2023 Ram Promaster 3500 EXT, I recommend the Curt item # C13295. This custom fit class III hitch has a 2" receiver with a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs. It comes with all the installation hardware needed to complete the install.
I really like the Curt item # C13295 hitch because the crosstube mounts completely behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver and safety chain loops exposed. This not only looks better but helps with ground clearance.
To add a wiring harness, you'll need the Curt item # C58DR. This harness comes with custom fit connects that plug in directly behind your tail lates. It'll provide you with a 4-way connector capable of controlling your trailer or accessories lighting functions.

Hello Rod, I installed this hitch received on my Promaster 3500 about 2 years ago that was super affordable and easy to install. Because I don't tow anything I didn't add the wiring harness. Due to the back doors, I would advise getting a swing adapter, so you have access to the back area. I have been very happy with it and have carried bikes on it for over 8000 plus miles.
