Can I Use an Adjustable Ball Mount with the Cruisemaster DO35?

hello I currently have a curt adjustable 2 ball mount and am needing a DO35 pin setup. Is the a DO35 pin compatible with this great hitch? thanks joe

Hi Joseph,
It looks like the Cruisemaster DO35 requires a ball mount with a platform that has a 1-inch diameter ball hole. Since the Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount doesn't have a platform like a fixed ball mount does, it will not work with the Cruisemaster DO35. To figure out which fixed ball mount you need, you'll need to measure for how much rise or drop to tow your trailer. To get an accurate measurement you'll need to measure from the ground to the top of your hitch receiver opening and from the ground to the bottom of your trailer's coupler. Then subtract the coupler height measurement from your hitch height measurement to get what rise/drop you need. If your hitch height is greater, use a ball mount with drop. If the coupler height is greater then you'll need a ball mount with rise. I've linked an article on how to measure for rise/drop as well just in case.
