Need Larger Tires and Rims to Replace the Ones on my Karavan Jetski Trailer

Question:

I have a karavan jetski trailer 1250-46 with 480 12 5bolt rims and tires. im looking to go to a wider rim and tire for beach launches. Thanks

If you are looking to stay with a 12 inch wheel, I recommend going with the Kenda S-Trail ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel, # AM31202. This tire measures in at 5.7 inches wide which is approximately 1 inch wider than the other tires that we offer for 12 inch rims .

For a tire and wheel combo that is substantially wider, the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel, # AM3H400, may work for you. This tire measures in at 8.3 inches wide. You will want to take a couple measurements on your trailer to ensure that you will have plenty of clearance for the added width and that the 10 inch wheel will fit on your hub.

Both of the options that I have mentioned are for wheels with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. I recommend that you verify the bolt pattern of your wheels. I have attached an article which may be helpful.
