The Curt A20 is a good hitch but I wish I would have stayed with the B&W. My issue with the Curt is that it is one notch short of ideal height. I barely have 5” clearance between the bottom of my 5th wheel and the top of the bed rails. B&W has that extra notch. Just my two cents.

I went with the Curt hitch because the pinbox on my fifth wheel is from Curt. Seemed like a good idea to go with matching components. Jerry C has a point, my hitch is set to the highest position to give me about 6 inches of bed rail clearance. The Curt hitch breaks down into two pieces so removal is pretty easy. Overall I’m happy with the hitch and would recommend it.

@HiramJ 6 inches would be enough clearance. Most say that 4-6 inches is minimum but I'd lean more towards that being 6 inches.

@JamesonC.Agreed, Originally I was set up on the middle set of holes on my hitch and that was to close for comfort. In the highest set of holes I have enough clearance and the rig sits nice and level when hooked up.

Hello Kevin, I have had this hitch since we purchased our 2024 Brinkley 3610 coupled with my 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually. The hitch fits perfectly and while I don't know the exact weight, can easily install and uninstall myself in 2 piieces. My previous B&H slider was ridiculously heavy requiring help even in three pieces. I am 60 and consider myself average size and strength. And for quality, It's sturdy and easy to confirm open/close and have confidence in it while towing. Hope this helps.
