Which Leaf Spring Is The Best Replacement For A Bouncy 2019 Grand Design Momentum 351m 7K Axles?

Question:
Do you have info on if this spring is correct for a 2019 Grand Design Momentum 351m with 7,000 lb Dexter axles? Looking to replace all springs. They are pretty flat now but not broken. Trailer has been riding progressively worse with more bouncing and chucking. Hoping spring replacement will help??? Thanks for any help provided.

Hey there Darin!
The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # EM86RB is a good possibility for your 2019 Grand Design Momentum 351M. From what I found, these typically came with tandem 7,000-lb axles and 3,500-lb leaf springs.
Before ordering, you'll want to verify the measurements of your existing springs. The # EM86RB measures 25-1/4" eye-to-eye, and is 1-3/4" wide. Since your springs are worn and flattened, they may measure slightly longer than their original length. Ideally, measure them with the weight off the suspension. If you come up with 25-1/4" - 25-3/4" in that range, this will be the correct replacement.
As for the bouncing and chucking, replacing worn springs could definitely help! However, I'd also inspect your equalizers, shackles, and bushings for wear. An unlevel trailer, or excessive play in your fifth-wheel hitch can also contribute to these issues.
