How low will this jack go? In other words, the lowest retractable height?

Hey Kevin! The retracted height of the Ultimate Trailer Jack # UJ44FR is 28". If you're asking how far the jack hangs down when you adjust it all the way up, that is approximately 6-1/2" below the bracket to the bottom of the wheel. It can also be completely removed if you need additional clearance. It has 27-1/2" of total lift for an extended height of 43-1/2". This is designed for 3" x 3" or 3" x 4" trailer frames.

Hey Charles, the Ultimate Trailer Jack part #UJ44FR would be your best option. This allows you to set the mounting bracket height relative to the jack wheel which makes it really great for low clearance situations like what you have now.
