Question:
The rubber cap on the top of my jack is damaged. Is there any to purchase a replacement. Ultimate Trailer Jack - Sidewind Kent Smith
asked by: Kent S
Expert Reply:
Hi Kent, I completely understand wanting to get that cap replaced before anything works its way inside the jack and causes bigger issues.
For your Ultimate Trailer Jack part # UJ44FR, there isn’t a direct replacement cap offered specifically for that model. That said, the outer tube on your jack is about 2-1/4 inches, and we do have a cap like part # TJA-2000S-CP that’s designed for that same outer tube size. It’s not listed as an exact match for your jack, so I can’t guarantee a perfect fit, but it is very close dimensionally so it would be a 2 dollar gamble.
What do you usually use this trailer and jack for, boat days, camping, hauling an ATV, or jobsite projects?
