Will this work with a Thule 1 1/4 diameter post bike rack?

Hi Deborah; the RockyMounts 1-1/4" to 2" Hitch Adapter Sleeve for MonoRail Bike Rack # RKY54FR is only designed to work with the MonoRail. It is not compatible with any Thule bike racks.
If Thule doesn't make an adapter for your particular rack, the only option would be to use a reducer like # e58YR. This reduces your 2" trailer hitch receiver to a 1-1/4" receiver so that you can mount your bike rack. Keep in mind, this will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50%. If you use the adapter I also recommend adding an anti-rattle like the # e38FV.
