Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. The Furrion tankless # FR98SR is one of the few options that lines up well with what you’ve got. It’s designed around the same cutout size as your Dometic 94002BP, so you’re not getting into major wall modifications or trying to reframe the opening just to make it work.

That said, even though the opening is the same, you’ll still want to be ready for some minor plumbing and wiring adjustments since you’re going from a tank-style unit to tankless. Nothing crazy, but it’s not always a pure plug-and-play swap on the connections. From a fitment and clean install standpoint though, this is about as close as it gets to a direct replacement without turning it into a bigger project. The included door is 16" x 16".

I installed this in our landmark 365. It was easy to install and we never run out of hot water. The hot water heater doesn't use as much propane because it's not having to stay hot all the the time. Only when you use it.

It was easy to install, and we get hot water faster then the old style water heater. We would start it warming up then after 15 minutes we might have hot water. This tank less water heater no waiting we get hot water. Plus less propane is used. I hooked it through my old water heater switch and turn it on when I want.

@Dennis Thanks for sharing that, Dennis, really glad to hear the install went smoothly for you. It’s great to hear how much faster you’re getting hot water compared to the old tank setup, that’s one of the biggest benefits people notice. Cutting down on propane use is a nice bonus too. Appreciate you passing along your experience!

Installed mine about a year and a half ago. Was pretty straight forward. I can’t remember exactly why but, I had to get a different sized cover. Was probably my mistake when I ordered it. It fit exactly in the hole the old heater was in. Install in a 2017 reflection rls303. So probably the same junk water heater you’re replacing. It doesn’t use any more gas than the old one did. In fact, it probably uses less gas

@Mitch Thanks for sharing that, Mitch, really appreciate the real-world insight. It’s helpful to hear how it fit in your Reflection and that the install was pretty straightforward overall. Good callout on the cover size too, that’s something that can catch people off guard. Glad to hear it’s been efficient for you as well!
