Replacement Tankless Water Heater For 2021 Grand Design Reflection

Question:

We need to replace the tankless water heater in our 2021 Grand design Reflection. We did not winterize the tank correctly and it is now leaking. I am hoping this unit FR93FR will fit directly in with the same fittings as the current model. Current model is FWH09A-AM with a 16 x 16 door. We should not need the inside controller or the door assembly, correct? Also, can it all be changed outside the unit, as there does not appear to be any access from below or inside? Thanks!

We have what you need.

Yes the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU # FR93FR will be perfect replacement and you will NOT need a door you can reuse the one you currently have.

There might be an access port outside that will help you do the install but I would say there has to be an access from the inside. All of the connections are on the rear of the unit and I highly doubt the tubes and pipes will be long enough to allow you to connect them, then slide the unit in.

There has to be an access point inside the RV. Either under something or hidden by the manufacturer.

You can call them and they will be able to tell you where the point of access is if you cannot locate it.
