Recommended Replacement for Dometic WH-6GA RV Water Heater

Question:

Do you carry the Dometic WH-6GA gas only hot water heater? I do not have 120V AC all the time. Thanks

The best replacement option we offer for a Dometic WH-6GA RV Water Heater is tankless, the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater part # FR68SR which is gas only. It won't be a direct replacement but still pretty easy nonetheless as they are very similar. That said, you won't have to worry about enlarging the cutout or anything like that, just switching over some fittings and wires is all. The tankless design means pretty much an endless supply of hot water which is a big improvement over the six gallon tank you'll be replacing.

@Conner,K What exactly would you like to know about the Furrion Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR? Are you trying to replace your water heater and looking for the right size? If so let me know the model number and brand and I can look up the dimensions to see what the right size access door would be. This water heater uses LP gas and 12v DC current to operate. If your current water heater is 120v you'll need to run a power wire out to it from your DC distribution panel. Let me know what your goal is and I'd be happy to help.
