SoftStart for Furrion Chill RV AC Unit 13.5k BTU Unit

Question:

Looking for a soft start for my bedroom ac. Its a furion chill 13.5k model FACR13LPSA2-PS please and thank you its on a 2025 Brinkley Z3515.

Hey Hayato, the SoftStart kit part # SSR54FR that you referenced would be what you are looking for. This is compatible with the Furrion AC unit you have now and will do a great job reducing amperage draw when firing up the AC unit! How do you like the Brinkley?

@HayatoS Put one on the same unit as you have...the same kit from etrailer. Works great and I only need to haul my Honda 2200 to run every thing....not all at once of course but oh so handy to only need to haul my small generator for my 17' Wolf Pup.

@Dick I got the soft start delivered, I went to look for the installation paperwork on the softstart website and it didn't have my model of furion the 13.5k in the instructions only the 14k I beleive is it the same install proscess?

The Best thing about this soft start it’s since i instal it on my Grand design , now i can use the AC when the only Power i have is my BLUETTI or my small 2000 w generator

Installed on my coleman and had the install instructions. Was an easy follow, but called the number and talked with the inventor. Great CS as we went over what I did just to make sure it was correct. Runs great on a Honda 2000. Good luck and enjoy the chill.

I purchased one of these from E trailer when I had to replace my front ac. The shop that did the work told me that it was a great purchase and that my ac would be protected on start up and use less energy which would help to give my new ac a longer life expectancy. They highly recommended it and it’s very efficient. I have been using it now for a few months and I noticed quieter start ups on my ac unit. I plan to purchase another one from etrailer when I replace my other unit in the near future. I highly recommend purchasing one for your ac. Reggie
