Recommended Leaf Springs for a 2022 Forest River Vibe Trailer

Hello, i need springs for my 2022 Forest River Vibe trailer. I don’t have serial numbers because there are no stickers on the factory ones. Going off of what i can see and measure, I know i need 4 leaf springs measuring 27”, 3/8” thick, 1 3/4” wide, and they are double eyed. When i filter down to this in your page i get four options, how can i know what the difference is between those four and how to make my ion? Thank you!

Hey Margarita. What specific model is your 2022 Forest River Vibe trailer and how did you get the 27" measurement on your leaf springs?
You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
Leaf springs like to stretch out over years of use so the best way to get an accurate measurement for replacements is to lift one side of the trailer up. Lifting the trailer up gets the weight off of that side of the leaf springs and you'll be able to get an accurate measurement without them stretched out.
The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles item # e97SR you were looking at is only going to work if you have 3,500 lbs axles and your current leaf springs measure 27" from eye to eye with the weight off of them. You most likely need the 25-1/4" 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # e54SR.
Additionally, when you swap out your leaf springs, you'll also want to switch out your hardware as those suspension bolts are only meant to be torqued down once. You'll want to pick a kit with the closest size to your current shackle straps.
The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR46ZR is for 2-1/4" shackles or item # MR76ZR is for 3-1/8" shackles. These kits come with the bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps.
To determine what size shackle straps you have you'll just need to measure from the center of the suspension bolt to the center of the other suspension bolt on one of yours.

Turns out the springs did not measure 27”! They measured 26” with the weight on and 25 1/4 with the weight off. We have found the springs we need now. Thank you for your response, it was very helpful. I did not know we needed to switch out the hardware as well so I appreciate that added tip.
