I sure can Paul. To replace your Shurflo 4008 water pump, I recommend the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump item # SE58FR. This pump has the same flow rate of 3 gallons per minute and has the same 45 PSI pressure capacity. It also runs off of 12v power so it'll be a pretty simple swap out.
What happened to your Shurflo 4008 pump?

I replaced an old SHURflo 2088-422-144 (mfg date on label 07/1992) in our 1989 Toyota Odyssey Americana RV with this SeaFlo SE58FR pump in June 2024 (purchased from eTrailer.com). I love this pump. Not only has it been perfectly reliable, it is WAY quieter than the old original SHURflo pump. Very happy with this item and fully recommend it.

I just bought this pump about a month ago. Easy install. I did not use the strainer that came with it as I have an inline strainer already between the fresh water tank and the pump. Quieter than my old Shurflo but louder than I had hoped, at least inside the trailer. Outside you can barely hear it. Shakedown camping trip last week to the Smokies. Performed beautifully.
