Question:
I have a shurflo 4900-0201. Water pump What do you recommend for a replacement. It will be in an rv that is rated for no more than 50 psi. I saw that the seaflow was quieter than the shurflo. What is the better choice? Thanks

Hey David, welcome back! The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs item # SE58FR is going to be our best replacement option we have for your Shurflo 4900-0201. The variable flow is based on demand so it would not run as hard with lower water usage making it quieter. The Seaflo pumps are noticeably quieter than the older Shurflo models.
The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump item # SE58FR is a 45 psi, three gallon per minute pump, that work with two fixtures. It is 12v powered. The next size up is the item # SE57FR which is a 55 psi pump that works with four fixtures.
What kind of RV or boat do you have and how many fixtures are connected to your Shurflo pump?

Thanks Jerred, it’s a 25’ Airstream pull behind with kitchen and bath faucets, 1 toilet, 1 shower plus an outside shower. I like that the recommended pump is variable to usage. Thanks again for your response.
