Can You Use BrandMotion Wireless Observation System with Multiple Trailers?
Updated 10/30/2026 | Published 10/29/2026 >
Question:
I see that you can add up to four cameras to one vehicle monitor. I have multiple trailers, stock goose neck trailer, 3 fifth wheel flat bed trailers that Id like to put a single camera on for use as a rear view while driving as well as backing. Would the BM37SR fit the bill after ordering 3 extra cameras?

Hey Alex!
Yes! The Brandmotion Wireless RV Observation System # BM37SR sounds like a great fit for what you're wanting to do with your four trailers!
The monitor supports up to four cameras, and each camera is paired to its own channel. You could install one camera on your gooseneck stock trailer and one on each of your three fifth-wheel flatbed trailers. You'd just need to purchase three additional compatible cameras.
The nice thing about this setup is that you can keep the monitor in your truck and simply switch to the appropriate camera channel when changing trailers. You shouldn't need to pair the cameras again each time, since temporarily losing the camera signal when you disconnect a trailer shouldn't erase its pairing.
The cameras can also be used for both backing up and observing what's behind your trailer while driving, provided they're wired to a power source that's active while towing.
How long are your trailers? I'd love to make sure the wireless signal will have enough range to reach the monitor in your truck.
