Replacement Remote for a Jensen JWM41

Question:
I bought a 2022 grand design and there was no remote for the Jensen jwm41 dvd Bluetooth receiver. I understand there is a replacement package for the remote available. Can you tell me why there are all the wires replacement package? Do I have to rewrite something in order for the remote to work?

Hey Donna, thanks for the information! To get a remote for your Jensen JWM41, you'll need the Replacement Service Package item # JEN94FR.
The wires included with item # JEN94FR are meant as a replacement for the original wiring harness that connects your Jensen JWM41 to your Grand Design. They are not going to be needed to replace your remote. You will not have to rewire anything. I wish Jensen had just the remote to offer you without the wires but unfortunately that is not an option.
