Will The Swagman Stratus Bike Rack Fit A 2019 Airstream Bambi?

Question:
Hi. Does this have a 2 inch reciever built into it ? It looks like it does. I have a 2019 Airstream Bambi I’m thinking of getting this for.

Hello Peter, thanks for reaching out. The Swagman Stratus # S52SR is a bike rack that mounts to the trailer tongue. It does not have any kind of built-in hitch receiver. I think you might be referring to the "backbone" portion of the platform. That part is a square tube, but it is not a hitch receiver, so it couldn't be used for mounting any kind of hitch accessory. That would be kind of cool if it did, but I am not sure what a built-in 2" receiver in that location would be used for. Just out of curiosity, what did you have in mind?
That said, the # S52SR rack is a great option for a camper like your Airstream Bambi with a big tank cover on the tongue. The legs are adjustable so they can be set up to clear pretty much any crowded tongue configuration. It can hold two bikes weighing up to 50 lbs apiece and with tires up to 5" wide.
