Will Trimax Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp For 2-1/2" Receiver Work With Reducer Sleeve and 2" Shank

I have read the QandA on this, but I need clarification. I have a 2 1/2inch hitch using a 2 inch sleeve reducer . The shank is obviously 2 inch. Wouldnt the TMX66SR model be to wide to work on the 2 inch hitch shank?

Hey Patrick! The Trimax Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp # TMX66SR will not work well with the 2" shank and reducer sleeve. This is designed for 2-1/2" accessories. The best option is the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer III for 2-1/2" Hitch with 2" Adapter # BX88312. This is specifically designed for setups like yours with a reducer.
