I have a 2025 Chevy 2500HD LTZ Trail Boss and I am looking to put on a pair of Timbren SES. Can you point me in the correct direction.

Hi Kent, You’ve got a great truck, and Timbren is a solid, simple upgrade for it.

For your 2025 Chevy 2500HD Trail Boss, I’d recommend the rear Timbren kit part # TGMRCK25D. It replaces your factory bump stops and helps support the rear when you’re towing or hauling, so you get less squat and a more stable ride.

The Trail Boss package doesn’t change the fit for this, so it will bolt right on without issues. One thing to keep in mind is the Timbrens are made of dense rubber so it will change the ride quality. Some people opt for a softer spring because of that.

What are you trying to fix? rear sag?

I put them on my 2500 gmc they took the sag out when I hook up to my 5th wheel they smoothed out the ride on rough roads and bumps we are satisfied with them.

I put the Timbrens because I don’t need to fool around with checking air pressure with airbags. Easy install, put them on and forget about them. Towing a 31ft TT and very pleased with the ride quality. I would highly recommend.

@Scott Totally fair point about the air pressure, that’s definitely one of the trade-offs with airbags. You either need an onboard compressor or you’re hauling one around, and yeah… it can get old. Glad to hear the Timbrens are doing the job for you and improving the ride! What travel trailer are you pulling?
