Looking for Replacement Bearings for 4,400 lb Axle of 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2800BH

Question:

I have a 2021 grand design imagine 2800bh. I am looking to replace my bearings and seals. I looks like my axle weight is 4,400. Do you sell a kit that has the seals and bearings. Or do you know what i need. Thanks

Can you get me the brand of your axle? The 4.4k axle is pretty unique and the different brands use different bearings unlike basically all other standard trailer axle capacities.

I have a Rosborough 24' cabin cruiser on a SHOReland'r 2 axle trailer. Boat is 7,000+ lb and I needed to replace inner and outer bearings and seals on all 4 wheels. I had VERY little information on the trailer and just about nothing on the bearings and seals. You are going to need a good set of micrometer measuring calipers or full size set of micrometers to help you get the right parts. The races and bearings all should have part numbers etched or stamped into them but reading the numbers may be tough. Read what you can see, but ALSO measure them with the mike. Etrailer has good information available as to the actual sizes for their bearings, races and seals and you're going to have do some skipping around on their site to get parts that measure what you need. I did all that but also managed to order the wrong size seals. Returning them was no problem at all. Getting the races and bearings off on my trailer was a MAJOR chore, and I needed 3 different pullers and some major pounding to get the inner races to finally come loose. Use home made rust buster made from 1/2 acetone and 1/2 power steering fluid. Better than ANYTHING on the commercial market. Hope this helps.
