Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda carrier KR35 ST 175 80 R 13 load range C radial trailer tire mounted on this 13 inch black mod wheel. Now if you're looking for a dependable trailer tire and wheel set up, then this is going to be a great option for you to consider. As you can see, it has a little bit of style to it. I really appreciate not only the the black finish on our wheel, but we have this double red pinstripe around the inside perimeter so it's really gonna look sharp. This comes with this ST 175 80 R 13 radial trailer tire and so this tire is for trailers only and it's going to come to you just as you see it mounted on this 13 inch black mod steel wheel.
The tire itself is a load range C, which means that it can handle up to 1,375 pounds at 50 PSI. So that's gonna be a good fit for everyday towing jobs like you, your utility trailers, small campers, boat trailers, or even landscape trailers. The KR 35 radial tire design is specifically for trailer use, giving you smoother tracking and more subtle towing at, or more stable towing rather at highway speeds compared to those older bias ply tires. One of the nice things about this setup is it does balance durability with efficiency. This tread design's gonna help promote even wear over time while also helping reduce rolling resistance and that can help the tire run cooler and last longer during regular hauling.
The wheel uses a very common five on four and a half inch bolt pattern, so this is gonna fit a wide variety of trailer hubs. We walk you through step by step on how you can measure your bolt pattern to make sure this is going to work for you. The diameter of the wheel measuring beat seat to beat seat is 13 inches. The width of the wheel is four and a half inches.
This does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot of diameter of 3.19 inches. It uses a wheel stud of half an inch by 20. And even though the tire is rated for 1,375 pounds, the wheel has a higher capacity of 1,725 pounds, but you are limited to the lower rating, so that would be the tire, of course. Visually it's gonna be a step up from a plain steel trailer wheel without being flashy. Again, the black finish and the double red pinstripe is a great touch.
