Replacement Head For Pullrite Superglide 2900 Series

Updated 03/18/2026 | Published 03/17/2026

Question:

Hello i have a Pullrite hitch slide that my head 2901 has a bolt fall out. Seems like spot welded broke. Do you know who can fix? Or how much to replace the head unit only 2901. Rails tubes seem fine. Thanks for your help. Enrique

Hi Enrique, I’m really glad you reached out because that’s not something you want to take chances with, especially if a weld or mounting point has failed on the head.

We do not currently carry the PullRite 2901 replacement head for the PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch for Short Bed Trucks 20K part # PUL63RR so it’s not something you can order directly through us, but it is an OEM replacement part that’s still available through PullRite dealers and RV parts suppliers. Since that head takes all the load from your trailer, I would lean toward replacing it rather than repairing it unless you can have it looked at by a qualified welding or trailer shop that’s experienced with towing components. That way you know it’s safe and won’t give you issues down the road.

PullRite does typically offer a 5-year limited warranty on their components when purchased new through an authorized dealer. How long have you had the hitch? The good news is your base and rails can usually be reused if they’re still in good shape, so you’re not starting from scratch.

What fifth wheel are you towing, and what do you enjoy most doing with your rig, more camping and exploring or hauling toys and gear?
