We just purchased a 2026 Sanibel 38 Laundry It has 2 chill cubes I believe they are 18k. Can a heat drip be added to an 18 k chill cube? FACR 18 VS SA BL AA is what we were told it is

Hello Nancy, thanks for reaching out. And Congrats on the new camper! Those Chill Cubes are great AC units but at this time there is not a heat strip option for them. We have been told that Furrion does plan to make one eventually, but as of right now there is no ETA for when that would be available.

They do make the Chill Cube with a heat pump, but that is not a simple add-on and would require replacing the entire AC unit. If you really need to add heat capability right away, that would be the only option. That or get a space heater like the Xtreme Heaters Electric Space Heater # XH74FR.

Do you plan to do a lot of camping in places with cold weather? Or is this more for just those chilly spring mornings?

We live full time in East Texas and we do occasionally get that wacky winter weather here. Just using occasional times. I will look into the space heater you suggested. Thank you for your input and help
