Hey Elvin, thanks for reaching out!

At this point in time (May of 2025) Furrion doesn't have a heat strip option for their Chill Cube line of AC units.

What I recommend doing is using one of the newer R32 Furrion Chill HE AC Units so you can use the Heat Strip Add-On # FR63PR.

If you let me know what AC unit you're wanting to replace, I can see if we have something that is direct compatible, or if you need to replace the entire system.

On the Furrion Chill Cube 18k ducted , does the remote still work if you add the Furrion wall mount thermostat?

@DavidM Yes, if you were to get the Chill Cube thermostat installed, the remote would still work as well. We actually have the ducted Chill Cube kitted with both the remote and the wall thermostat as the Part # FR49TD for Black or Part # FR69TD for White.

@JonG The wiring diagram shows the wiring from Furrion chill cube thermostat adapter to thermostat is 4 wires: 12vdc+, ground, A and B. Then the furnace + and - appears to be a direct connection between furnace and thermostat. The question is where is the 12vdc + coming from adapter getting 12vdc or in other words, how is 12vdc circuit connected to chill cube controller?

@Davidm That 12V DC power will need to come from your battery bank (or through your power supply center).

Are there heat strips available for the chill cube yet?

@Jack So far it's still a no-go. Sorry! Maybe with us getting into the cooler season it will drive more interest and Furrion will feel the need to get more on top of it.

Hey Jon, is the answer still the same in November of 2025? Just checking for updates.

@JustinT the answer is still the same, no update on a heat strip. They do have a version with a heat pump they started adding to 2026 trailers at the OEM level so that is likely on its way but no ETA. The regular Chill Cube was only available as an OEM unit for quite a while before it was available for aftermarket sales so I think they're following the same model as before.
