This topper shields your slide-out roof from leaves, twigs, and standing water that can clog seals or cause leaks. It extends and retracts automatically with the slide-out, so debris stays off the top whether you’re setting up or packing up. By keeping the roof clear and dry, it helps prevent mildew and water damage that can sneak in through the seams.
The fabric is made from premium 13.5-oz vinyl that’s strong enough for regular outdoor use. It’s cold-crack tested down to -25°F, so it won’t stiffen or split when the temperature drops. The seams are heat-welded instead of stitched, sealing out water and giving the material a long service life even through heavy rain or winter storage.

Designed for slide-outs measuring 122" to 127" wide with a 48" projection, this topper gives full edge-to-edge coverage. The awning rail is 127" long, and it only needs 7" of clearance on each side for installation. If space is tight, you can go one size smaller and still get complete protection.
Everything needed comes in the box, including the brackets, awning rail, and hardware. The roller tube already has the fabric attached, making setup straightforward. With self-tapping screws and access plates that slide into place, two people can mount it in just a few steps using basic tools.
The white vinyl fabric matches the white hardware for a clean finish that blends nicely with most RV exteriors. Once installed, it gives a neat, streamlined look while quietly doing its job to protect your slide-out every time you set up camp.

It's important that the slide-topper sits at as steep an angle as possible so that any rainwater will drain immediately. Any water that sits in the awning can stretch out the fabric permanently and warp it out of shape.

I have been using my slide awnings for a year now without any issues. I dont have to worry about sticks and pine cones getting on top of my slide outs. It keeps me from having to climb on top of the RV. I highly recommend these to everyone I see.

It looks like you nailed it with the install! I'm in "aw"ning, haha. Do you have any install tips you learned when you put on the awning?

Glad you like it! And having more than one person is definitely a good idea. These things get pretty long and awkward. What did you install this on?

Product is functionally working great. Paint and wax were required to diminish visible scratches.

After a year of use, the slide topper awning still looks and works great. Youd never know it wasnt a factory install. So far, no signs the Arizona sun is deteriorating the fabric, although I try to treat it with 303 Protectant, and keep the trailer covered when not in use. Still very happy with my purchase.

I think you are selling yourself a little short, Michael. Install looks like it was done by the manufacturer! Great job! Any more trips planned for the year?

Couldnt be happier with slide out topper. Keeping waterdebri off slide out, protecting seal which was the goal. Not one issue with item, working great after 1 yr n probably for years to come.

Our slide-out awning is still functioning perfectly. Since I had loosened the tension a bit I was concerned about it maintaining good tension over time. No problem. Still perfect! There is no noted degradation of the canopy or hardware. Thanks!

The slide out awning is working out very well. It was relatively easy to install. Unfortunately, although I met the minimum height for the awning above the slide out the pitch wasnt quite enough to keep water from collecting on the slide out. I had a choice of either increasing the tension on the roller or placing something under the awning to keep it from sagging. Because of the rather large width of the slide out I opted to place some styrofoam under the awning. This has worked out very well.
