Hey Jason. The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter item # CAB-C5G has four set screws that need to be tightened to 110 ft-lbs. There are no torque specs for the four hex head bolts on the collar. We've spoken to Convert-A-Ball and they said that the bolts need to all be flush and evenly tightened.

What kind of trailer do you have?

I liked mine, it installed super easy, only thing I’d caution of is the clearance, I had the one with the adjustable height on it, had all the torque specs right, and it slid on the set screws and caused my camper to hit the bed rail of my truck. I eventually switched to a regular 5th wheel rig in the bed of the truck. Just something I’d caution you on.
