Will PullRite OEX SuperLite Have Enough Cab Clearance With 2025 Ram 2500 Short Bed

Question:
Will this product have enough cab clearance for a ram 2500 6.5 bed? I know that this product arranged correctly gives an additional 7.5 rearward space.

Hey Tim! The PullRite OEX SuperLite # PUL56ZR does provide an additional 7-1/2" of rearward offset for improved turning clearance. However, on a 6-1/2' bed I would not assume that means a full 90º turn will always be possible.
Short bed trucks will still have tighter turning clearance. The deciding factor on whether or not you can reach 90º is really going to depend on the shape of the front cap of your trailer. If you have a tapered nose you will have enough clearance. A wider or square front will probably be limited. You will still be able to use the hitch but you will need to know your limitations.

Towing a 2020 32ft GD Reflection w/ Ram 3500 short bed and have the hitch set at the 3.5” rearward position. Although I don’t think I could make a 90 degree turn I have never been in a situation where I was close to hitting the cab. In my opinion replacing the superglide with the #4815 was s good choice for several reasons. Weight. savings vs superglide, easy to hitch up & unhitch, maintenance and number of parts and no chucking to name a few.
