Question:
Can you tell me how long the tongue is on the carrier? I.E., how far out from the hitch receiver will it extend? Thanks!

Hey Denis, on the 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches # TLA7901 there is 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the platform. That would be how far it sticks out past the hitch pin hole. Would that work for you?

Hello- Thanks for the prompt response! Six inches isn't very long (don't tell my wife I said that). This would be for a front-mounted hitch, so I doubt it would extend past the bumper of my truck. I would have to use a hitch extension, which would reduce the tongue weight by about 50%. Might still work, depending on what size generator I am carrying.
