Installing Curt Wiring Harness on 2024 Subaru Outback Touring

Question:
2024 Subaru Outback Touring I purchased curt towing wiring. At the rear passenger side there is a 10pin socket as in the attached picture. Totally different from curt socket. Please advice

Hello Fernando; did you find that connector in the same location as the picture below? Sometimes there is more than one connector hidden away in the vehicle. We installed the # C56040 on a 2025 Outback and the the connector was in the same location as the picture, not where the written directions state it is located.
I attached the installation video further down on this page for your reference as well. Another customer found the connector in the same location on their 2022 Outback so I don't think it would change between 2022 and 2025.

Yes, it is exatcly the same location, however, the plug is different. I ran some test, and the pins are for tail lights, turn signal, etc.
