Hey Dave, yes the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems # VGR64VR that you referenced would be what you need to use your Haloview RV camera system with your newer GM truck. This solves the issue that basically all RV observation systems have with the newer GM trucks.

This worked perfect for my 2023 Ford Ranger. My research showed this was the best option and it worked like a charm.

Hi Dave, The 12 v PWM filter eliminated the problem I encountered with my RV back up camera when I traded in my old Chevy truck for a 2024. Apparently, the engineers at Chevy had a "better idea" of how to supply 12 VDC to the truck, and, therefore, to everything connected to the truck... unfortunately, that caused the problem I experienced which my backup camera the first time (and each time thereafter until I installed the filter). Hope it works for you. Good luck, Fred

Worked (and continues to work) perfectly on my 2022 Chevy High Country Duramax.

The filter worked as needed on my 2025 GMC 2500 HD the first time out. However my second trip out it was up to its previous issue of cutting out. I have in the last few weeks re-wired it thinking it may be a connection. We will see if that was the problem soon on our next journey.
