Question:
I have a 2 axel fifth wheel tv that is12-13k lbs dry it’s 43’ long. Do you recommend an 18k or a 20 or 25 k 5th wheel hitch in my superduty?

Hey Timothy, as long as the hitch has more capacity than the weight of the trailer it will work just fine. There's no advantage to go with a much higher capacity or to as closely match the capacity. Only other thing to consider is that if you were to change trailers in the future you might want to go with something that is "future proof" as well.
So the B and W Companion hitches are what most consider to be the best hitches around so for your 2023 Ford puck kit we have the 20k part # BWRVK3300 or the 25k part # BWRVK3305. The other thing to consider is that it does cost more for more capacity which is only reason I wouldn't recommend just going with absolute highest capacity option. What fifth wheel trailer do you have?

Thank you. I forgot to mention I have the B&W under bed turnover ball gooseneck set up so I wand to utilize that with the hitch. I have been running the last few years with the Anderson aluminum hitch for the gooseneck ball with a ball on top and the pin adapter. What’s your opinion on that Anderson hitch considering I am thinking on the route of the normal pin/plate style hitch. I’ve never had an issue with the Anderson but I just have some butterflies thinking it could break.
