Question:
Why are these so expensive if they are made in china. I need to replace my 4 month old tires and I have these same tires on my trailer and they are not that great compared to others I have ran. I only got 20,000 miles out of them.

Hey Jeff,
Almost all trailer tires minus the Goodyear endurance line are made overseas, so where there made isn't typically going to be the deciding factor on price, instead the USA based engineering is.
Personally I prefer the Kenda line, that's what I use on my personal camper.
They're available in the ST235/85R16 size you looked at with part number # AM10501 though only have a Load Range F rating which is 3,960lbs at 110 PSI assuming you have a single wheel setup.
If you need more capacity then you'll want the Westlake # LHWL410 which is the Load Range G, or 4,400lbs at 110 PSI.
It's worth noting that you do need to be running whichever tire you have at the max PSI, or you will get weird tread wear.
How many miles a year are you towing?

I run 10-11000 miles a month. So I need to good tires that I can max out my rim load rating at 4400lbs single tire as I run a tandem 16k trailer that I max out weight quite often. Longevity and durability is my biggest concern

I have had a number of these on two different horse trailers. I purchased the tire wheel combination. I am absolutely satisfied with the results. In my case the G rating made all the difference. I was having regular blowouts with the F rating tires. Realize I am hauling max weight on these trailers and the tires can get hot. Keeping my pressures exact and these tires has eliminated the blowouts for thousands of miles.
