Replacing a worn seal is an easy way to help protect your hub from water, dirt, and road debris. This double-lip grease seal keeps grease where it belongs while creating a dependable barrier that supports reliable performance mile after mile.
Seal numbers are not always listed the same way across axle and hub brands, so the cross-reference data gives you another way to confirm the replacement before the hub comes apart. This Lippert double-lip grease seal matches the following common seal numbers:
| Brand | Part Number |
|---|---|
| Chicago Rawhide/SKF | CR 14821 |
| Dexter | 10-60, 010-060-00, K71-301-00 |
| Lippert | -- |
| National/Timken | 471921, 533409 |
| NOK | AD2267E0 |
| Transcom | 15192TB |

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at these Lippert Double Lip Grease Seals for your 2,200 pound trailer axle. Now these double lip grease seals are designed to keep your trailer hub protected by holding grease where it belongs, while preventing water, dirt, and other contaminants from getting inside. That extra layer of protection is gonna help your wheel bearings stay properly lubricated, which can extend their life and improve overall performance. This is made to fit many light duty trailer hubs used on 2,200 pound axles.
Before installing, you do want to verify the dimensions to ensure a proper fit. This seal has a 1.500 inch inner diameter and a 1.987 inch outer diameter. And it's gonna fit a hub bore measuring 1.983 inches. And those measurements are listed on this product page. If you are replacing a worn or damaged seal, this is gonna be a direct replacement that's gonna be compatible with many popular trailer axle hubs from leading manufacturers to make matching even easier.
Cross-referencing information is included there on your screen. And again, if you need to refer back to this information, we have it listed on this product page, but you see Dexter, TransCom, National, NOK, and Chicago Rawhide. And I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name's Andy.
Thank you for joining me.

I’ll give it a 5stare for know,I just got them yesterday.if I have any problems with them I’ll change my rating.they were packaged nicely and came in on time.
Great service, thank you.
They installed as they should, seem to fit well. Time will tell though.
Two out of the four seals I got, the spring fell out of while installing and was resting on the bearing. Not sure how integral the spring is but removed and tossed each seal and am concerned the other two are going to fall off once I get some miles on them and destroy the bearing
