Can this Rack be used on a frame mounted fifth wheel hitch? If yes, what would be the weight rating.

Hey Daniel! The Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Platform Rack # KU89SR can be used on trailers as long as the hitch is attached to the chassis/frame. Since you have a frame mounted hitch on your 5th wheel it is compatible and will work well.
The bike capacity is reduced to 80 lbs per tray when used on a trailer, and Kuat also requires the Fender Strap Kit # KU43VR to help keep the bikes secure during travel.

We have a 2022 GD Solitude, about 42ft in length. We purchased another rack to use, but without an hitch extension will not accommodate 2 Trek Powerfly’s side by side due to handbar width so am looking for a better option. Weights are approximately 60lbs each. This could possibly work will need to do more research. Thank you for the response! Best, Dan
