Hello, Can you tell me what rock gaurd will fit this base plate BLU83UR? I also have a Demco Excalibar II tow bar. Thanks

Hi David!

There are a few options for rock guards that will work with the Blue Ox base plate # BLU83UR and the Demco Excali-Bar II tow bar.

First would be something like mud flaps like the BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Mud Flap System for 2", 2-1/2", and 3" Hitches - Matte # BPH36VR. The downside to this kind of set up is you need to have at least 1" of clearance between the back of the tow bar face and the trailer hitch receiver opening for it to fit. If the bumper also protrudes out, it could cause fitment issues.

Your other option would be the Demco Sentry Deflector # DM9523135. This is pretty beefy and would do a good job, but you will also need the Demco Sentry Deflector Adapter Kit for Blue Ox Base Plates # DM9523061 to get it to fit your set up.

Either of these, or actually both if you wanted to, would do a great job of protecting the front of your Trailblazer.
