Hey Bob. So long as your 2026 Jayco Redhawk has the brake controller harness behind the storage compartment/tray above the radio in the center dash you can indeed use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers item # 22292 to install the Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90885. Since your RV came with a 7-way connector you most likely have the brake controller harness. There's nothing listed in Jayco's literature on your Redhawk that specifically states you have the adapter.

A cleaner option for installing a brake controller is going to be using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED24FR. This is a unique brake controller where the main unit mounts out of sight with only the control knob visible in the cab. The knob controls the braking power and acts as the manual override.

If you went with the Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED24FR you would need the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter item # 331-TPH-017 along with the item # 22292 for a plug and play installation.

What kind of trailer are you pulling?

Hey Jerred, I ordered the 3034-P adapter and received a 303400 adapter. Looking a my factory brake controller harness, it doesn’t look like a 303400 will work. The factory connector has the battery feed (red) in pin position 8, stop lamp switch feed (brown with blue stripe) in pin position 12, brake controller output (blue) in pin position 14, and the ground (black with purple stripe) in position pin 3. This doesn’t match the 303400 pin wiring positions shown in the instruction sheet. Any ideas? Thanks. Bob

@BobS Ford changed the layout of the pins on some of the factory adapters. I can't show diagrams on how to reorientate to what you'll need but I can link a question previously answered that will break down what you need to move. https://www.etrailer.com/question-570628.html I'll have someone reach out to you to discuss options.
