What is the correct part number for the Demco tabless base plate to fit a 2018 Wrangler JL Rubicon 2 door? Which tow bar works best with this base plate?

Hey Michael, we have the Demco tabless base plate kit part # DM9519336 that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Then for a matching tow bar the Excali-Bar III part # DM9511013 would be a really great option that is easy to use and very well made.
Do you have a braking and lighting system already?

Hi Jameson, the installation of the DM9519339 base plate went well. Easier than I thought it would. I have an aftermarket front bumper which replaced the factory plastic bumper. I did not have to remove the bumper to install the base plate and was able to complete the installation without assistance from a second person. Careful placement of my jack stands was required, however. I wish I would have left the steel factory support in place for the plastic front trim piece in place (there is plenty of room) so I could reinstall the plastic piece but I didn't and there is no room to install it now without removing the base plate. The steel skid plate supplied by Demco as part of the package is robust and will make a nice addition but I have to spend a bunch of time fabricating mounting brackets to use it. FYI, I did not purchase the Excali-Bar as I prefer a different manufacturer with integrated brake system. Cheers,
