Which MouseBlocker Should I Use For my RV and Shed

Updated 01/23/2026 | Published 01/20/2026

Question:

I have two uses needed. One is a 45’ motor home with under bays. Want to protect both the living space and the under bays. I have had a termite issue in the living space along with the mice. The other use is a 40X60 shed. Mouse protection is all I need there. Which units would you suggest for each. The motor home has 110v available at all times as does the shed.

Hey, Mark!

The MouseBlocker PROx part # MB94FR would be the best for your RV. It's the hardwire in options but this will be the best option because it will give you the availability to mount and put anywhere you can wire it into. Now these are really great for mice, rabbits and other small rodents but wont have an affect on bugs at all. We currently don't carry anything that would target and deter bugs like the MouseBlocker does.

For your shed I'd recommend the plug in version of the PROx, that's part # MB34FR. Again, this will work for mice and other small rodents but not bugs.

The motor home living space has four distinct rooms. Two bathrooms and living and bedroom. Will one unit cover the entire upstairs? The lower part of the motor home has about ten individual compartments. Will I need to have separate units for it and if so how many?

@MarkZ Since it will be emitting ultrasonic sounds, the sounds will bounce off walls and won't go through them. If you want every inch of the RV to be receiving the ultrasonic sounds, you may have to put one in each compartment. MouseBlocker recommends when these are first installed to set up traps. The idea is to shake the mice out. When they hear the sounds they will run to the trap for the food before trying to go back to their hiding spot. Once they all have been caught and removed, the MouseBlocker becomes a preventative measure.

It seems that it's working. BUT be very careful, if you have pets it'll be painful to them. Use it only when your animals aren't present!

@DP I totally agree with you. It's really good for storage or when no one is actively in the camper. Especially with pets.
