What Torque Rating Should Trailer Lugnuts Be Tightened to

Updated 06/30/2014 | Published 06/28/2014

Question:

Hi, this product looks exactly like the same rims that are on my 2014 Flagstaff 206ST popup camper. My rims have the following stamps: 13X4.5, IDA-JG0311, and A13407. Anyway, Im trying to figure out the proper torque range for the nuts. The Forest River manual says to consult the wheel manufacturer. There is a handwritten note on a sticker on the trailer frame that says torqued to 75 foot pounds. That seems kind of low to me. Do you know what the torque range is for this rim? Thank you.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
